O Vos Omnes by Tomas Luis de Victoria. This is a wonderful Lenten motet, and as Lent has just begun, what better time to post it than now? The text is from Lamentations 1:12.
Latin:
O vos omnes, qui transitis per viam,
attendite, et videte si est dolor similis sicut dolor meus.
Attendite, universi populi, et videte dolorem meum:
si est dolor similis sicut dolor meus.
English:
O all you, who pass by the way,
attend, and see if there is any sorrow like unto my sorrow.
Attend, all you people, and see my sorrow:
if there is any sorrow like unto my sorrow.
Latin:
