After having spent much time gazing at the 'Get Your Own Blog' button, I finally took the leap and clicked it. The title of my new blog is taken from a friend's Latin phrase-a-day calendar, and translates to the English "Bah! Humbug!" I chose the title because I have an especial fondness for Dickens'
A Christmas Carol (both the book and the 1951 movie version). Also, I tend to get frustrated sometimes with all the various moral problems in the world, and with the somewhat illogical arguments advanced to support some of these problems. At times like these, I feel much like being somewhat of a Scrooge and saying "Bah, humbug" to the world. So, since I intend (or at least hope) to devote a portion of this blog to attempting to combat error, I felt that my Scrooge-ish attitude toward the aforementioned error would be an appropriate title. As for the Latin, I think Latin is one of the coolest (and most sophisticated) languages ever, so when I found the phrase in question conveniently translated, I couldn't resist.
I'm not sure how often I'll get around to posting. Life is busy when one is in school. I'm aiming for hopefully once a week at least. The sidebar, etc. probably isn't perfect, either, but I'm new to all this, so I'll try to get it figured out soon.
For the present, adieu, dear reader.

Welcome to the Blogosphere!
Why thank you, good sir! I see you were as good as your word and gave me a link on your blog. I have done the same for you.
Sanchez! Indeed, welcome to the blogosphere, and please accept my hearty, abundant, and velvety apologies for not commenting before now. Life is just going a little bumpy lately, and my social life has suffered accordingly.
I hope to correct the error sometime in the near future, but for the time being, I'm afraid this lack of communication is going to be standard procedure due to...junk, essentially.
God bless, m'lady!
